Well, now that the Anyu is finally being polled over on subeta, I can post this!

This was my first attempt at revamping the anyu. I was going for a much more polar bear styled character, much older and realistic looking. It was rejected, however, as being too different from the current anyu (or old anyu, depending on whether my newer redraw goes through)

Never the less, I really liked it, as did a lot of the other artists! So I had to post it :)

This is absolutely fantastic! Although I guess the head isn't as round as the current Anyu, I certainly prefer this one! Did you draw the one in the poll, may I ask?

Oh my god. I love this one so much. <3. The anyu always appeared to me as this silly little bear, but this adds a level of grace and mystique to it. Fantastic job!

Oh ok, well congratulations, they're both beautiful! The one in the poll is more anyu-styled, and I guess more suitable, whereas this one is simply incredible, and a lot more realistic compared to a polar bear. Although anyu's aren't real, so I guess that's the point! =P
