Teashop Crew - Winston

This is Winston, a character of mine from a story I've been writing. He's actually bipedal in the story - think Disney's Robin hood style. But for the purposes of illustration, I've been drawing all of the characters as more animal than human. I keep his profile/story setup on on Subeta.

Winston is an English Bulldog who runs a teashop in London in...well, currently it's the 1920s but I'm still researching the perfect date to set the story in so that could change. It could also be in a parallel universe London so the date won't exactly matter! He is part of the 'Teashop Crew' - founded by three members (Winston, Noah and Gideon) who are trying to preserve the arts in a society that is becoming increasingly ignorant of its past. Winston speaks several languages, latin being his favourite to quote. He's the smartest member of the group, and also enjoys factual literature and philosophy.

During the course of my story, Winston (prompted to search by Noah) finds a book that describes the location of a secret portal in London. Much of the book is illegible, but they manage to find the portal location and buy up the building surrounding it to convert into a teashop, where they can run a mundane business to cover up their dealings with the portal.
